Meeting Every Child Where They Are

Every student is uniquely created by God, and we celebrate that. Our teachers and volunteers meet children right where they are—academically, emotionally, and spiritually—creating a safe, accepting space for them to thrive.

Journey is more than just classes—it’s family. We’re intentional about fostering a warm, supportive environment where kids and parents alike find friendship, encouragement, and belonging.

Building Strong Community

Christ Centered Foundation

Hands On, Outside the Box Learning

At Journey, faith is at the heart of everything we do. Our co-op is built on biblical values that nurture both hearts and minds, encouraging students to grow in their relationship with God while learning with purpose and joy.

We believe kids learn best when they can explore, create, and experience. Our unique elective classes make learning exciting and meaningful through hands-on projects, real-world connections, and creative discovery.

Journey Co-op was created out of a heart for homeschool families seeking a safe, welcoming space to learn and grow in community. We saw a need for a place where students from all walks of life and educational backgrounds could come together and feel seen, valued, and supported — not compared.

At Journey, we believe that every child is on a unique path — one designed by God — and that education should nurture those individual gifts and callings. We understand that not every learner fits into the same mold, and that’s what makes our community so special.

Our goal is to meet students right where they are and help them discover who they were created to be. With more than 75% of our classes built around hands-on, elective-style learning, students get to explore real-world skills and career interests in areas like design, coding, construction, homesteading, and so much more.

But the dream didn’t stop with the students. From the very beginning, we wanted Journey to be a community where families, parents, teachers, and staff could also find connection, encouragement, and belonging. We believe that when the whole family feels supported, children thrive even more.

Journey Co-op isn’t just about academics — it’s about equipping kids for life, inspiring curiosity, and building a strong, faith-based community where both students and families can grow together.

Our team is hard at work dreaming up another amazing year of hands-on learning and community at Journey! More details about next year’s classes will be posted soon. Please mark your calendars — current family enrollment begins February 25, and new family enrollment opens March 4.
